Shah Rukh Khan, widely known as SRK, is an Indian actor, film producer, and TV personality born on November 2, 1965. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with 'Deewana' after appearing in several television series. He is the co-chairman of the motion picture production company called Red Chillies Entertainment. He is often referred to as 'King Khan" and "Baadshah of Bollywood." SRK is one of the highest-paid actors in the Indian film industry and enjoys a huge fan following. Some of his notable roles were in 'Devdas', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Baazigar', 'My Name is Khan', 'Swades', 'Darr', and 'Anjaam', among others. Some of Khan's highest-grossing films include comedies like 'Chennai Express' (2013), 'Happy New Year '(2014), 'Dilwale' (2015), and the crime movie 'Raees' (2017). The Government of France has honored Khan with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour, whereas the Indian Government awarded him the Padma Shri in 2005. In 2011, he was honored with UNESCO's Pyramide con Marni award for his support to children's right to education.
